Updates broken

When clicking on Communicator (not a sub-item), recent updates are shown in full, but HTML markup appears to be encoded/stored literally, e.g., there are lots of
tags everywhere.

When clicking the updates section, there is no way to see the full content of an update. Clicking on the subject only refreshes the same page with a truncated beginning.

Click 'reply' to an update results in an error
